MAI visits the Finnish Parliament

Participants from five European universities involved in the Martti Ahtisaari Institute and its EU-funded Marie Curie LNETN research project visited the Parliament and discussed the crucial social issues of the day.

Member of Parliament Tytti Tuppurainen and her assistants welcomed our group. We discussed the most pressing current social issues with MP Tuppurainen. During the visit, our group also had the opportunity to learn about the impressive history and architecture of the Parliament House.

We warmly thank everyone for the inspiring and thought-provoking visit. We also look forward to future collaboration with our institute board member, MP Tuppurainen.
